We have been walking for pretty much 10 days straight and there is a jerk of a blister on the third toe of my right foot. That is why this post is merely a cute little anecdote and not a well organized visually stimulating travel post.

Yesterday at the zoo, near the end of our 6 hour animal kingdom walkathon, James stopped, squatted down in the middle of the path and told us he was “loading.” No, not “unloading” you potty minded people.

In Whitehorse, there are two options for internet: The expensive slow package and the really expensive moderately faster package. We have the expensive slow package so when I need Youtube to parent for me, James is often required to hone his patience skills while Pingu is “loading”.

James’ connection was obviously starting to fail yesterday, thus his need to “load.” I hear ya loud and clear buddy.

I’m off to load now with a glass of wine. Wine we bought at Safeway. For five bucks. Oh, America.

I am laughing right now. I wish I could “load” with a five dollar bottle right now too (despite it being 9:45 in the am). Unfortunately I think baby would be unhappy with that decision. Drinking it with you vicariously.
