We Made an Offer They’ll Probably Refuse

With a little bit of paint and a few minor wall removals (renovations always take less time and money than anticipated, yes?) the duplex we looked at last night would make a fine and affordable home.

Many, MANY others feel this way.

It came on the market two day ago, there were five showings last night alone and multiple offers made already, including our own. The whole thing is a blind process so you basically just throw a number out there and hope it’s four dollars higher than the other guy’s.

We only offered the asking price which is kind of like not shaving when you really need to make an impression. But what if everyone else showed up in crocs and beer t-shirts? Do you really want to be the only guy in a tux? I don’t think so.

I’ll let you know how the whole affair pans out. J.D. is really disappointed that he can’t muscle his way through this one.

Good luck! You never know . . . . if it’s meant to be, it will happen.

Wowee! That went by fast. On my end, anyway. Prayers for a tolerable, if not enjoyable labor and delivery. Can’t wait to see some pics.
