Dad Went Bison Hunting on Saturday

March 22, 2012

Good Mum:

Paprika and chili powder add so much to the sensory experience.

Bad Mum:

No. I will not buy you glitter. Not ever.

Good Mum:

Sure you can ride your bike all the way to the playground!

Bad Mum:

No. I will not carry you and your bike to the playground.

Good Mum:

Come children, let us have a memorable winter playground experience.

Bad Mum:

Mum, are my boots on the right feet?

(Without looking) Yup! Let’s go!

Good Mum:

Mum,  can we walk all the way around the river?

Sure!

Bad Mum:

Mum,  can we walk all the way around the river?

Sure!

Good Bison Hunter (according to Bison):

Did you get one?

No, but look at this caribou antler I found!

Bad Bison Hunter (according to hunters):

Did you get one?

No, but look at this caribou antler I found!

Unrelated footnote: Four years ago tonight, I was in labour and whooping J.D. and his family at Settlers of Catan.

    …Love the antler photo, JD!
…Creative Claire…another great idea for spices….Cinammon especially has many health properties along with others (double duty!)

PS: Thank you for the chuckle today…once again ‘you’ve made our day’. Have a great birthday celebration for James today! Love you all!
