Brothers in a Bed: Take Three

June 3, 2012

We decided to put James and Jasper in the same bed last night for a number of reasons, the most important of which is that when Jasper wakes up at five, he can tell James all about it instead of us.

This morning I asked James what he thought about the new arrangement.  This is what he said:

“It was pretty fun except that we had a teeny tiny fight in the middle of the night. Jasper woke up and I had to push his eyes closed.”

We didn’t hear anything so he must have had it under control. We should have done this a year and a half ago.

That photo is priceless! Reminds me of a photo taken of your uncles Ron and Dave when they were around the same ages (maybe a little older but not much) – around 60 years ago!

I’m so glad it’s working! Oscar and Lucy are currently cuddled up like puppies in his bed, too. Like when I look at your photo, it melts my heart every time I peek in.

You get the credit for inspiring the arrangement:)

Bahahaha! Love the pushing of the eyes. 🙂 This gave me a good laugh AND the appropriate courage to try putting my girls in the same room (if not the same bed).

If Norah needs tips on how to keep Elena in line, James will be writing a sleep solutions manual in the near future.

I LOVE how James found a solution, rather than waking you up! Good man!
