A Bit of This and That

November 5, 2012

Jasper said his first grammatically intact sentence today (but he said it like every word was  a sentence so I don’t know if this counts):

I. want. food.

James: Look Mum! I helped you empty the dishwasher!

In order to brush Jasper’s teeth without having to kneel on him, we have to pretend that we’re dislodging jungle animals hiding behind his molars and in his gums.

Me: Jasper, what’s in your teeth?

Jasper: Lion.

Me: Okay got it. Now what’s in your teeth?

Jasper: Elephant.

Me: It’s gone. Now what?

Jasper: Woman.

James and I did a  collaborative collage yesterday.  He picked the pictures, I cut them out, he ripped the pictures trying to put glue on the back, etc. Then we stuck it all together to create a very meaningful piece that will keep you up at night with all its meaning.
